Kids at La Manga Club

La Manga Club offers numerous children-friendly facilities and plenty of ways to help keep the kids entertained, ranging from Junior Tennis Academy courses, swimming pools and crazy golf. To a children's play area at Las Lomas (only for Las Lomas residents) and the superbly equipped Mini-Club Fiesta near the Tennis Centre.

Our summer events programme (which normally runs from mid-July until the end of August) is popular with all ages, with the weekly Street Party at Las Lomas (including clowns, bouncy castle, games and entertainment) proving a particular favourite.

Children-Friendly Facilities for Hotel Guests Children's programmes, games and movies are available on the in-room televisions. At the hotel pool, there is a separate babies' pool for the tinies and a shallow children's section in the main pool. Alongside the pool there is also a play area for children under eight years old.

Golf

The Golf Academy offers junior coaching and regular clinics for aspiring young players. Keen junior golfers should contact Golf Administration for information on coaching and tee times.

Tennis

Five-day Junior Academy programmes and individual coaching are available for children of four years old and over. In addition, there are regular junior tournaments.

Football

Run by Nick Watson, FA and UEFA top qualified coach, the five-day Football Academy programme is open to both boys and girls from 5 to 12 years old and of all ability levels. Only at Easter and in the summer.

2004 Football Academy

Please note that we have made a few changes to the Football Academy for 2004 which in turn should improve on the already very successful programme.

The 6 & Under Academy has been extended by 15 mins per day, from 45 mins to 60 mins. This now runs from 10:15 - 11:15.

The 9 & Under Academy has been extended by 30 mins per day, from 60 mins to 90 mins. This now runs from 11:30 - 13:00

The 12 & Under Academy has been brought forward to a slightly earlier time from 16:00 - 17:30.

The extra 12 & Under Academy which ran as an overspill group from 18:00 - 19:30, has been cancelled as we can take double the amount of players for each academy next year due to extra football pros.

Included in the Football Academy price is free entry to the relevant age group organised weekly football match and a 25% discount into the football tournaments.

A new Sport Package gives players attending both the Tennis & Football Academies a discount of 25% off the Football Academy price. The Sport Package is however per person and not transferable.

Junior Golf

As in most sports, learning from a young age multiplies the chances of becoming an accomplished player or even a professional later on.

The three 18-hole courses at La Manga Club and the quality of the practice facilities are well suited for juniors to train and familiarise with the game. La Manga Club Academy of Golf courses are ideal for juniors and adults alike.

Youngsters of 15 years old and under benefit from a 40% discount on the green fees and Par 47 rates.

Mini Club Fiesta

Open all year round, the Mini-Club Fiesta offers a superb range of facilities and fun activities for children aged 3 months to 12 years. What's more, the air-conditioned centre has recently been extended, completely refurbished and re-equipped, so while you're out on the golf courses or enjoying a game of tennis, you can be sure that your children are having fun in a friendly, secure environment.

Mini-Club Fiesta Facilities

• Mini-theatre and disco for shows, dancing and musical activities

Excursions

At Torrevieja, approximately 60 kilometres from the resort, there is a water park open during the summer. A little further afield, in Elche (80 kilometres), there is a River Safari Park, which is open all year round.

Other Activities

Other popular choices include crazy golf, mountain biking (with children's bikes, baby seats and trailer bikes - all available for hire from the Activity Booking Centre on resort), horse riding, and the kids' playground at Las Lomas.

Kid Friendly Restaurants

Children are welcome at almost all the restaurants and bars around the resort, although under-18s are not allowed in certain bars after 12:00 midnight. Most restaurants offer special children's menus for the under-12s and can provide high chairs on request. Particular favourites with the youngsters include Luigi's, Spike's and Uncle Sam's, where the special Stars & Stripes birthday parties are always a hit.
